Madly Unto Eternity
The Savannah College of Art and Design M.F.A. graduate thesis film of Pikey Holdredge and Tobias Beidermühle, official selection of over thirty film festivals, and recipient of eight festival and showcase awards, Madly Unto Eternity represents the combined effort of more than forty people.
Synopsis: Danny Lynch finds himself in lockdown after a night of bad decisions; he lost a fight with a middleweight boxer, his girlfriend broke up with him, and his brother won't even bail him out. After recounting the night's events with another hapless prisoner, Danny learns that his bail has been posted by the very same boxer with whom he started a brawl. A talk with the boxer reveals that Danny's absentee brother had set all the chaos in motion in order to make a quick getaway with stolen money and Danny's engagement ring for his now ex-girlfriend. Armed with clarity of vision, Danny sets after his nefarious brother in a headlong chase through the downtown streets – upon capture, Danny's brother confesses his misdeeds to Danny's disjointed girlfriend, enabling Danny to make amends with an unorthodox proposal.
